Dear Michael:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the great weather forecasting products that The Weather Center is providing us.  As you know Power Resource Managers does load forecasting for electrical utilities in the Aberdeen, Pasco and Sea-Tac areas of Washington State and Merced, California.  Having your highly accurate short-term weather forecasts has been instrumental in our ability to make load forecasts that are equally as accurate.

The long-term forecast provided by your head meteorologist Tom Dunklee has also proven to be extremely helpful.  Tom takes a very unique approach when producing his 90-day outlook each month.  His selection of factors affecting the Pacific Northwest weather and climate results in very accurate forecasts.

Another part of your service that I really appreciate is The Weather Center’s ability to transfer the short-term forecast directly to our computer database.  Each weekday morning your data populates our load forecaster program without us having to download the data from your website.  This feature saves us valuable time when we are doing five separate forecasts on a daily basis.

Michael, I really appreciate how you have followed-up on a regular basis to make sure all systems are working properly.  The customer service The Weather Center provides is second to none.  When we were first setting up the software to automate the deliver of data, your meteorologist Erik Moldstad took extra time from both his office and his home to help work us out the bugs.  Employees at The Weather Center really seem love their work and it shows in how well they treat their clients.  I have to say again, your customer service certainly out performs that of all the other private weather service companies I have dealt with during my 35 years in the electric utility business.

I would strongly encourage any company in the utility industry that needs long-term and short-term weather forecasts to use your firm.

 Sincerely,

Jack Kelle
